1 week into iron, 1 minute better than last race. we went out at 6:17 for mile 1, mostly because the huge pack got bottlenecked 2-3 times and had to slow down to a jog. but I went out more conservatively anyway and felt really smooth the whole race. i did push the pace gently so my legs wouldnt seize up and I could push the iron-crash thing that happened last time off as long as possible. I couldnt have gone any faster i know for sure, but i didnt have the crash feeling from last race. hopefully things keep getting better
