FINALLY PR. I love big league races with Pelzar/Caulfield etc.. I was kinda sultry all morning and although I wasnt in my head I wasnt thinking about the race very much all day. The race went by really quickly and I am happy with my tactics, cause i went around people and didnt let gaps form when the lead pack sped up at 900m to go. When Caulfield started his kick I didnt go with him at 300m left which I am annoyed with myself about, and maybe I was just not fast enough but I could have given 100% effort since I wasnt all out then yet. I more cruised in to a PR rather than fought all out for it; I wasnt very tired after this race, I know I can do better.
could have been faster without wind too. weirdly only had 1/2 liter of water all day before race 1, still felt great. same thing i did the last two days
I have some great confidence now from this. I know I have a lot more to give If i get my mind and training straight
