'Eh' kind of day. We had 6am practice. During the warmup I noted how my legs are pretty tired and sore from the hills and weightlifting of the past three days. My goal was a 2 mile and 4x800, but relatively early in the tempo I knew that it was going to be a bad day. I was running about 5:05 pace, but my stomach was messy and my legs were tired/sore. I chopped it a 1.5 miles and took some recovery before running back to the start line. I hopped in with the fast group doing their 2 mile tempo and did the 2 miles with them. It ended up being more progressive, starting around 5:50 and ending around 4:57, but I felt 80000x better than during my tempo. For the first time in who knows how long, I was able to just tuck behind somebody and run without worrying about my pace. Gosh it felt good :) ....overall I'm disappointed with my time, but I did what I could. I haven't had a bad workout in a while, so this was good me. It keeps me hungry. Cooled down, weightlifted, did hurdle mobility, stretched, and did abs.
