Notes

Tough workout today. Considering it was 2 days after a tough workout and it was again windy out, this was hard. I started with my warmup to U-Park, where I did a 10 minute tempo. It ended up being almost exactly 3k, with 1k splits of 3:16 and 6:36. I honestly felt really good and only looked at my watch at the K's. To be able to just jump in and comfortably sit on ~5:20 pace for 10 minutes was good. After 5:00 rest, I did 5x400 at the park, and these were tough. I ended up hitting about 70 for all of them, and there was 2:00 rest after each. I needed those 2 minutes! My legs were just so exhausted. Then I jogged to the track and did 3x400 with 2:00 rest. I hit 66, 66, 63. Again, it was windy and my legs were really tired, so I'll take it. Still not injured! Cooled-down, did hurdle mobility, stretched, foam-rolled, got my calf rolled out, and iced.
