Notes

Workout today. Still doing lower mileage this week. My stomach felt fishy during the morning/early afternoon, but it did not factor into this workout. Warmed up to the race course for this weekend, did 3x2k with 2:00 jog recovery and then did about 10 minutes of jogging, finished off with 3x200m with 1:00 recovery, and cooled down back to the Hyslop. The temperature was nice, but it was a little too breezy today, so the last couple 2ks kind of sucked. I realized that even with my easy running this week, my legs are still zapped of energy from the last weeks, so these ended up being harder than I expected. I hit 6:30, 6:28, 6:31. I actually hit my splits pretty even, so that was good, but I'm realizing how much higher mileage tires you out. After cooldown I did weights, but even then my legs were pretty tired. Then hurdle mobility and stretched (core was part of lifting). Good day overall and still healthy.
