WORKOUT: 6-8 mile steady state run
ACTUAL: 6.55 miles @ 5:40 pace
Stupid Garmin didn't record the splits, so I can only try to remember what they were:
1- 5:37
2- 5:41
3- 5:44
4- 5:39
5- 5:40
6- 5:44
6.55- not sure the last split
Between the hard long run Sunday and intervals/weightlifting on Monday, this was tough. I could feel towards the beginning that this was going to be a rough workout. I cashed in my chips before 8 workout miles today because my legs were really tired and my breathing was starting to go wild as a result. So, I stopped before this became a race. Always learning! Overall, I did what I could with what I had, so it was a good day. Pretty darn tired afterwards. Achilles hurt on the cooldown, but after the treatment yesterday it felt GREAT last night and this morning. Afterwards I weightlifted (lots of stabilization stuff), stretched, and iced my achilles.
