Race day! did a 2 mile morning jog, 2 mile warm up for my race, raced a 5k in 15:40, and did a 4 mile cooldown. all the easy runs felt great exceptcooldown because it was 70 degrees and windy and my body was over-heating. I finished off with stretching.
As far as the race was concerned, I did a good job of racing smart and always getting behind people on the backstretch because the wind was gusting 30mph+! ran really well and hard and I'm pleased with it. my foot felt good too! good day overall.
