Run 4 Robyn today. I have no idea if the 5k was a legit 5k, but I know that it was closer than last year. Last year was way long, but this year was much closer. Ran with Elliot Stone and Ryan Wheeling for the first 2 miles and then pushed the pace a little, dropped Ryan, and then eventually dropped Elliot. Elliot finished at 16:07 and Ryan at 16:10. It was really good to run with those guys, especially at a small-town 5k like this. My legs felt exceptionally good, all things considered. It was a little breezy out of the southeast, which wasn't a problem at the beginning, helped mid-race, and was a burden at the end. All-around a great experience like it is every year.
