Notes

Workout today. Warmed up to U-Park and then did 2x3200m tempo runs with 4 min rest in between. I didn't look at my watch on any splits except the 1600 and the 3200, because I wanted to see what my pace is that I have been running in workouts (where I didn't know my pace). I came through the first 1600 comfortable in 5:04, and then came through the 3200 in 10:18. The second one I came through the 1600 in 5:10 and the 3200 in 10: 24, so the second 1600 was 5:14 on each of the tempos, and since it felt overall pretty good, I reason that my body is ready to be comfortable at that kind of pace. Towards the end of the second one my stomach started acting up, and part of that is because I'm still recovering from all the dairy I had earlier this week. I'm really happy with today, because it showed me that I'm in a lot better shape that I thought. I was expecting to be running in the 10:40-10:50 range today, so I'm pumped! I cooled down to the Hyslop after that.
