Coach dropped us off north of town. Pretty chilly out there today, but not bad with the wind at our backs. I can tell that all the outside running over Christmas break really helped my body adapt, because the -18 degree wind chill coming at my side when we were running east wasn't a problem at all. That's a good sign.
Felt really tight the first 5 miles, but then I loosened up quite a bit and picked it up towards the end. I was hitting solid 7:00 at the beginning. Did 6 miles on the gravel, one on the pavement, and two on the Hyslop indoor track. Then, I did some pretty fast striders. No pain at all today! :)
