Long run today. Felt really good! Rolled out of bed, drank water, went to the bathroom, and ran. It was cool and no wind, so perfect conditions. I did most of my running on the soft, black dirt, minimum maintenance roads west of town, so it was great for my legs. Around mile 6 I had to make a bathroom stop in a sunflower field, around mile 10 my quads were kind of sore, and I didn't realize that there was a slight southeast breeze that I had to run my last 4 miles into, but other than that this was really good. I felt strong and healthy, and my breathing was so comfortable. Honestly, I felt better after my striders today than I did at the beginning of these two weeks of 80 miles a week, which is an obvious sign that my body is handling it well. I did 4 striders, stretched, and did core afterwards, and then Dad and I went to the farm. Very happy today :)
