Scrapped the long run and focused on health for my morning run today. VA cancelled school the rest of the year, so Imma focus on getting a morning run and evening run with Ingrid every day, with regular workouts now that I can make my own schedule. I went to the local high school and ran the ~0.5 mile grass loop they have there. First 20 minutes in the New Balance Minimus, last 10 minutes barefoot. Grass was soft and cool after rain yesterday. I will be spending lots of time here over the next few weeks with my shin acting up. Felt it a few times on the run, but not enough to scare me today.
