mountain west championships in colorado springs. race went out pretty conservatively and I tried to stay as relaxed as I could. Through the first loop of the 2.5 loops I was in good position and when the move was made I was able to pass some guys and surge for just under a mile. altitude was really felt halfway into that second loop and I maintained my position but was off the place goal we had set. The last half mile was rough as I was passed by a few guys. Difficult day for sure.
