No idea of actual distance--just ran for 2 hours and am arbitrarily picking 9 miles. Thanks to mud, could have been less. Wore C9 tights, pink wife beater, white Hincapie wool jacket, yellow Mini cap, b/w MC bra. Carried Nathan handheld, drank most of it. Ate two gels, Hammer chocolate and GU peppermint at 40 and 80 minutes. They helped. Started at rest room, through Walnut Plantation to LC trail, went right, took bike path to right down to where it ended in a loop then reversed. When crossed LC again, continued on bike path to left, but it soon became too slippery to run or almost to walk, so I bailed next time it crossed LC. Then picked up horse trail at zombie sign, went to left, crossed both crossings (full immersion of new Drymax socks--they, unsurprisingly, got wet), found my way back to LC, continued to right (counterclockwise), then when reached Walnut trailhead reversed and ran LC in its entirety clockwise, back through Walnut Plantation. Hit 2 hour mark about a minute's walk from car.
