Hot! First two miles were in about 12:30 (Garmin didn't start recording distance until we'd been running for over a minute) and 12:51, then died in the heat. Started walking hills, drank all our water before mile 3, decided to cut short at 4.

Wore NB shorts, white MC bra, purple PI bike jersey. Had a gel at 3 to see if that would help. Didn't much. Went out for pancakes, then felt I could have done another couple of miles.

Note: didn't eat until just before run, then had a piece of toast with PB. Great breakfast, but my stomach needed more. Lack of fuel may have been large contributor to terribleness of run.
