Notes
First 3+ miles felt awful--no gas in the tank. Had fish for dinner last night, not a lot of carbs, plus I've been trying to run a slight calorie deficit to get off this summer weight. Still, I did have breakfast, and this wasn't a long run. At about 46 minutes, though, second wind kicked in (perhaps switch over to glycogen or fat for energy?). Felt much better after that--you can see from mile splits that I was getting slower first half, then sped up second half.
Don't actually remember which shoes I wore for this--may have been black ones, not K3s.
