Notes
This was the on the rocks 45k. It was hot as hell and the race was difficult. There were 3 9 mile loops. The first loop we were rolling pretty good. there were a lot of inclines in the 1st 3 miles. The rest of the course wasn't too bad. There were decent hills around mile 6 and then from 7-9.
I stopped at all the aid stations to get fluids. I drank mountain dew, gatorade, and water. I also had chips for the sodium, fig newtons, cookies, pb and jelly.
Each stop was 15-60 seconds.The first loop wasn't bad and the second felt pretty good. It was a little difficult and still walked some of the hills. I walked a lot of the 3rd lap. It was mostly the hills. Most of the downhill parts were run.
