Notes
Springettsbury 10k. It wasn't really windy but it was raw out. There's a hug hill around the 1/2 mile mark. I felt good around mile 1 and then tried to keep the pace. I would slow down on the hills and catch people on the downhill. I did this the entire race. I could feel that i was able to pick up the pace when i wanted and then not training slowed me down. The last two miles, i was behind this guy who would pull away going up the hill and i would catch up a little going down and on the flat. We had about a mile to go and i was a couple feet ahead and we kinda swapped positions a couple times. He joked about having some more hills so he could stay ahead. At that point i put it into another gear and left him and beat him across the line. A few hours later when at home, there was some soreness and inflammation, but it's less than the past couple weeks.
