2015 Charlotte RaceFest, Charlotte, NC Sat@0730 $60
Mild temps @ 68F at 730am, temp at race end @ 70F. Set alarms for 520am; was dressed and out the door at 0620am, race start and finish at Southpark Mall. Arrived at Southpark Mall @0710. Plenty of parking spaces at Mall, parked near start line near Dick's Sporting Goods store. No Corrals. Partly cloudy at start, but cleared at race end. Ran in shorts, running cap, and short sleeve running shirt and was very comfortable. Running Shoes ASICS GT-2000 (#3). No pacers. Hilly course; miles 2-3 slight hill, mile 7-8 all hill, followed by miles 10-13 up and down hills. Last mile tough will gradual inline all the way to finish. Post race ok, cups of water and Gatorade available, banana halves and orange quarters available, and free cans of beer.
