Notes
A hilly fartlek. Lots of walking, lots of easy runs, some strides, some marathon pace periods, and two quick miles, one at 7:38 and one at 6:31.
6:31 would be a new mile PR, by the way. But it was on a mostly downhill.
Whether a hilly run and a mile PR in the week before a marathon (okay 72 hours)(okay make that 2 mile PRs in the week before a marathon) is smart is debatable. Not really. It's stupid. But it felt right.
One more easy little run tomorrow, a little time on the punching bag later.
3:39 or DNF. Nothing in between.
