Very cool.
Late in the day. Stomach full of junk food. After a 90+ week. And I got the urge to just hop on the treadmill and run a fast 5-k. 95% effort, working on the Jeff mantra of fast but easy, fast without pain. It's the key to the future. (Logstalking fuckers: that last line was an inside joke, not me being a complete tool. Go away).
And it was the second fastest 5-k of the modern ancient era. Only the Brentwood run was faster, and I'm still wondering about that course.
And I could have gone 30 seconds faster. On a cool day, on a decent course, in the morning, you could break 21:00 pretty easy. Maybe 20:45. Especially if you dropped 15 pounds, lardbutt.
