Legs felt tired today, earlier hard runs in the week took some of the bounce out of them for today. Thank God it was a nice day, as the run was a bit of a gut check as the legs didn't seem to want to turn over. I had a hard time early on finding a comfortable pace which ultimately led to the whole 20 being run faster than I probably should have.
Opening 5 Miles @ 8:54 Pace.
Next 5 Miles @ 8:34 Pace (Helped by downhill portions)
Next 5 Miles @ 8:36 Pace
Last 5 Miles @ 8:33 Pace (Mentally at this point the legs wanted to quit but gutted out the rest.)
Overall proud of the mental toughness on this run. Running when the legs feel good is easy.
