Tough race. About 2 1/2 hrs slower than last years Berryman 50 miler (when I wore VFFs). Totally blew up early and never did get back to feeling ok. 2nd loop was a death march and a 2 hr postive split. Still enjoyed spending the whole day on a beautiful trail and with a great bunch of people. TONS of mud and water on the trail made for having wet feet all day.
