105 miles- So far, I'm neither loving nor hating these shoes. Maybe it's because the orthotics just aren't for me...but i don't really feel the "magic" that other runners have felt with these shoes. They are kind of heavy and the cushioning in the forefoot feels pretty firm. This shoe isn't a bad shoe, but maybe it's just not right for me.
Mile 124-10/26/11(just over a year after purchase)- ive used these primarily for walking shoes after i took out the orthotics and ran in them again today. They definitely dont feel as heavy because the regular insoles are in them. I might use them more often. They promote a more forward (forefoot/midfoot) strikes because of the smaller difference in heel and forefoot heights. Shoe felt responsive and "just right" today although a slight pressure (not hotspot) on the right outside of foot where i felt it with the lunarglides too. Maybe i tied them too tight. Not sure yet. |
