I was running in short sleeves and shorts on a 60º afternoon when I got back to the house feeling pretty good after 8 hilly miles. Hadn't gone long in quite a while, and thought a trip through Winchester's hills would give me an 18 miler. It would, if the first loop was the 6 I usually run. Ooops. Pretty beat when I turned on Lowell Street at 14 miles, knowing I had 6 hilly miles ahead of me. There was some tough grinding in those six miles, especially the last three. Loved it.
