Ankle and shin held up surprisingly well on the downhills, that was a pleasant surprise. Lead runners went out really easy so I pushed it a bit and led through 1.5 and wound up third overall. Got cut off by the porta potty truck about 40 yards from the finish so that made it really interesting. Bought some Mother's Day raffle tickets for the Peg o' my heart and she won a couple bottles of wine and a gift certificate to an Italian restaurant. Free flowing beer (and wine), good food, good company. MOM's is a must run for sure.
