ran from our cozy downtownish colorado springs airbnb to nearby memorial park and trotted around the lake a couple of times. legs were fine but aerobically i was working much harder than i would be if there was oxygen to be had. run didn't leave me feeling any better (or any worse) about my chances of getting to the top of pike's peak, just wanted to remove a little rust so mission accomplished.
