Really poor footing on packed snow on the bikepath, found the same at Fresh Pond. Ran the first two loops of the pond with a nice young man from Somerville Road Runners. Chatting with Matt helped the miles pass. After fourth loop I was pretty spent, and knew it would be a four mile slog to get home. Really beat at the end, glad when this one was done.
