Cool and breezy, but forecasted rain and snow didn't materialize. A much better run than I expected, Garmin showed a 6:31 average at the 9 mile mark, but then...the wind. The wind was unreal, and my pace just went through the roof as I almost got taken off my feet. In spite of the wind, I really enjoyed the race. Peggy started but had to pull up after a couple miles, Jaye managed to run a PR. Nothing to not love about New Bedford.
