Workout in spikes on a part of the Eastwood Beach cross country course with Kinsey, Cally, Danna, and Jen. We ran back-and-forth on the 400m-800m stretch. It had two 90º-ish turns, and Kevin got there early to clear the leaves. Winds were almost 20mph, but the trees blocked some of it out.
Felt surprisingly good. Pace was incredibly manageable. Felt smooth and like I was holding back. This is a good sign coming off last Sunday's half marathon (on 11/13). Today's workout was a definite confidence boost. Drove home immediately following CD in order to do GS indoors.
