Workout in flats on the Stony Creek lake loop: 3x2.5mi with a mile jog rest. Ran the first interval in a long sleeve, second interval in a short sleeve, and third in just a sports bra. Did this with Cally, Olivia, Danna, and Dot. I was a little nervous going into this, but felt strong and smooth on each interval.
Was surprised to find myself ahead of the group on the first mile. It was a little windy off the water, making this stretch more trying than usual (final mile of the workout covered mile 0-1 on the loop as well). This set the tone for most of the workout, as I found myself leading or nearly leading each interval. The third interval I tried to sit back, but ended up falling off when Dot & Cally made a move the last 400m of the workout. Still managed a negative split.
Finished with strides in the parking lot, post-CD.
