Notes

Pseudo-long run from the boat launch with Dot and Dani. We ran out of the park to the dirt roads, gobbling up a lot of hills along the way. Then we headed back onto the paved lake loop for remaining mileage. Coaches met us at various points with fluids. Dot put the hammer down with a few miles to go. Dani and I fell back a bit, but managed to maintain (instead of grow) the gap. Dot ended up stopping for a few seconds to regroup with us, and we all ran the last >1mi back to to the boat launch together.

Pace steadily sped up near the end (ex. I believe we were 1:10:16, or 7:02 pace, at 10 miles; Last 4 miles of the entire run averaged sub-6:30). The temperature went up to 69 degrees near the end of the run. We had a lot of shade on the dirt roads. Still feeling tired. Iced the calves and plantars with TheraPearl packs, then took a nap after a post-run breakfast.

Ice: 14:00
