Today's workout plan: 15:00 tempo around the lake, 5:00 rest, followed by a continuous 2:00 hard-1:00 easy climb up to the Manor (roughly 2.8 miles from the bottom of the hill).
What actually happened: 15:00 tempo, 5:00 rest, 45s hard, CD.
I pulled the plug early. Felt like garbage and wasn't invested in the climb. But ran all of this solo in trainers and managed a great tempo piece, as short as it was. Based on where I started and finished my 15:00, we think I ran ~6:10/mi pace on the gravel lake loop.
