Awesome morning workout on a hill-ish road Kevin marked off in half mile increments. Got in WU drills and stretches before he drove us out toward the course for WU jog. Ran on pavement with some gradual inclines and declines. Had the wind at our backs for the second half of each interval.
Target time for me was 5:56/mi pace (10s faster than marathon pace). Ran my pace solo, but started each interval with Jen, Dani, and Kate. Everyone felt good and was a little quick. I always got out close to pace, but closed with a quick half mile every time. Had some intense spells of rain that simply got me amped. Also took a GU mid-workout that went down well. Finished with GS post-CD.
