Got out fast, maybe too fast, in both of my races. My 800m was part of the 3200m relay -- I was the first leg. Our relay team came in 5th overall, with a total time of 11:18. I placed second in the second heat of the mile (Em came in first at 5:53). I really wanted to be in the first heat (faster heat), but I entered in at a 6:00 mile time with a million other people, and was put in the front of the second heat. Which wouldn't have been so bad if the last girl of the first heat was sub-six...but she was 6:27. Gahhhh...let's go fast heat next time for sure. :)
