On Saturday, I got over my fear of 78s by running 9:42 in a 3k race (77.59 pace). Today, I got over my fear of 76s. So while our last two repeats didn't go as planned, I believe I am making progress, at least mentally. :) Spiked up for this indoor track workout with Shelby, Raquel, and Lunau.
We were a bit staggered on the 1000m repeats, with Raquel and Lunau running the first 5 repeats, and Shelby running the last 5 repeats. This was a great setup, because I didn't have to run a single repeat alone for the full 6. The next goal is to tackle 75s.
Our group stayed tight with no one falling back, which was solid. On the final repeat, I fell behind Shelby, but eventually woke up and ran next to her. Ran the last 3 minutes of CD barefoot on the indoor track, and partook in a short GS set post-run.
Hit the trainers afterwards for 15:00 of ice and stim on that left plantar. Foam rolled for a little bit after treatment.
