Plan was wu + 12x400m (0.25 mi) @5k pace (8:50 mm) with 400 m recoveries & then cd. Done! It was haaarrrd as I wasn't feeling it today, but I got it done anyway. I had trouble getting my pace steady. I can hit the pace OK, but I tend to either overshoot or undershoot (and then overshoot when trying to catch up). I'm looking forward to the day when I can just nail 8:50 pace closely without looking at my watch much, but right now I am still very watch reliant.
