no mile markers, which was different. i think i may have run over a small child or two- serves them right for starting at the front. their little legs just cant move fast enough to get out of the way. hit the first water stop (which i knew was ~1.5 mi in) at about 11 minutes. had to wait for 20 minutes at the start because the train was late. it was supposed to go by at 10, but the next one was scheduled for 11:35. why did the race have to start at 10, instead of scheduling it for 10:30? i like leaving myself no margin too.
also, im not yet in the official results, which is kind of cool...
