Cornerstone Speed the Light Runathon at Hunters Lane High School. Race was postphoned Saturday due to heavy rain. Ran this morning with all the pastors. Very nice morning for a race, 70 degrees and not too hot.
Started out about 6:45 pace and took the lead. At about 1/8 mile, I eased off a bit and kept my eyes on my Garmin to keep pace at 7:00. Ran pretty steady the entire race with 1/2 mile splits just about even. Proabably the very best I have felt in a race. I attribute it to watching my starting pace and racing pace.
