What an absolute clusterfuck.
Great race with the 4:00:00 Pace group through 20 miles, then absolutely fell apart.
Perfect weather conditions. Delay at the start didn't help, but I don't think it made THAT big a difference.
Training is going to have to change somehow.
No stomach issues, but right hip hurt, then lower back. Minor cramping in left calf that likely would have gotten worse had I pushed it.
Probably could have finished in 4:07 or 4:08, but once I realized that sub-4 and a PR were both out of reach, I just said "fuck it" and walked a lot.
