First entry into RA...read a few logs and cool concept especially the transparency...so this was to be a marathon pace workout...goal was to run between 6-6:05/mile and dial in that feeling....first mile was a bit more effort but did not have much warm up...after that it was easy to stabilize pace and group seemed to hang together well...would have preferred to have individuals take turns pulling but it seemed that pace would drop too much...Jake held back and kept us together going out but going back Jake Sean and eventually Jim Pawlecki and new guy Quintel took off...I was glad I stayed with my plan and finished side by side with Joe and Chris Kluze with Jeff just off the back...even whistled 'My Kind of Town' briefly before we finished...good sign overall pace was consistent 5:55-6:00 min and really felt like I could hold the effort for another hour to hour and a half...not quite for two and a half yet.
