Notes
Racing is fun. Pretty mid performance but I'm ok with it since I had a good time. Thought I'd be under 27, even on the really challenging course, and was just short. Got out hard and put myself in it, then hung around top 10 for most of the race. From 3-4mi I moved up into probably 7th and was hoping to get a couple more for top 5, but then I hit the hill for the last time and was more worn out than I expected and just held. A few speeding up passed me, I ended in 10th. Racing instinct was a bit rusty, but no excuse for the legs. Like I said, was super fun to be out there and I'm glad I did it. I'm in a decent spot and felt pretty good throughout the race, but there's still more work to do.
Heard from some of the Wisco board that they have a few freshman who are trying to walk on the team. Of course they come out all decked in their dragonfly's and cocky as hell, not even interacting with the club. I had a mid tier race, wore my sketchers, and beat all of them. They should probably try to make friends on the club cuz that's the highest level they are going to get to
