Notes
The 5k associated with the Eugene Marathon, which was the next day. It was great fun, and I did well. I went over the day before to meet with Valerie, and register, then drove home, after visiting Al. Valerie ran, and Renee' was there for support. I had two other women in my age group, and was 1/3. I had fun talking to them afterwards. Also, Joe Henderson cheered me on, and Kristen and her friends. Al's PT from The Regency and his wife were there too. A stranger cam up - a young lady, and said I was her idol. Lots of positive feedback. I have a good photo of Valerie and me. A neat day for me.
