"Hounds workout: 4-5x2k. BUT I want you to hold back and just run at 1/2 marathon pace or closer to threshold. Something in the 6:00-6:10 pace range. The goal today is not to waste yourself but more just to stimulate. Big difference. Stay within your comfort zone here."

2.5 mile warmup

just did 4 2ks, not wanting to overdo it, especially since I didn't run Monday after the long/tempo run Sunday... I felt recovered, though, and this pace felt very controlled. jogged 400 between.
