4 miles easy WU
5 x 40" fast strides, near sprint effort on 1:40 recovery jogs
5 miles easy/steady
3 miles nonstop 1' at 5:50-6:00 pace / 2' at 8:00 pace

It felt like I would *never* warm up today! It was cold, 19 degrees when I headed out, but I felt like my muscles weren't responding until I was halfway through. A lot of snow and ice everywhere as per usual these days, so that made hills more difficult. I didn't feel I really hit my stride until the 3 miles of 1 minute on, 2 min off. Overall, I felt good, though! I didn't take any food/water in, which wasn't a problem since it was so frigid.
