5 mile warmup, then 6 x 30" strides at near maximum effort up a super steep hill (Negley), with full recovery. Jogged home. These were definitely a shock to the system; the last 10 seconds of each were kinda rough (do I even look like I'm nearly sprinting?), and I had some weird thing going on with my right quad only--pretty sore, from climbing last night I'm assuming. By the end of the long warmup it was much better, and I didn't think about it during the strides, but could feel it a little on the cool down. Nothing major, I just probably pushed it a little too much yesterday.
