Finished 3rd in age group of really fast 50-year olds. Finished 5th OA with winner being a high school track athlete whom I finished 2nd to in the Looking for Trouble 5k. 1st mile was quite fast for the hot and humid conditions as well as the skipping around on the dilapidated road surfaces of the abandoned neighborhood. I could really feel that the previous day's swim workout as well as the weather conditions taking a lot out of me on the remainder of the course but I was happy with my effort. I did not have anything for a finishing kick.
