800 at nirca nationals, 10th place, 1:50 minutes after the 1500
In the morning i expected that i would either run somewhere around 2:00 or 2:06. Sense i ran 2:06 for my last 800m of the 1500 i knew that it would be almost impossible to run a slow time.
Splits where around 59.xx 60.xx, to total 2:00.45. I have never been in a more physical race. I got hit or had to jump around people pushing each other at least 3 times. At the 300 to go i had to nearly stop because two people in front of me cut each other off. At the end of the race i felt like i would have been benefited by going out faster.
