Tempo run along the lake front path. 1 mile out and 1 mile back. Focused on staying relaxed the first mile and split a 5:59 to my surprise. I then intentionally slowed down the next mile for a 6:11. Mile 3 and 4 where 6:01 and 5:59 respectably. I feel like I am getting back into the grove of running quicker and over the next few weeks I will try to establish a threshold pace which I can begin building workouts around.
