Autism Speaks 5k.
Good first mile - stayed more consistent closer to 6 min pace (Not 540 then cut back like other races). Strong second mile. Third mile has the payback hill and split time showed it. Gotta focus on persistently running harder and passing people in third mile. Good finish last third mile (Down hill finish stretch helped a lot!).
Placed 4th in Males 35-39, 40th overall out of 1050, 35th out of 536 males.
Feel good about this race after last two 5k that were much slower. This one is only 33 seconds (~10sec/mile) slower than fastest one but had hills and heat where Mercy Clinic 5k did not.
Time for some 10k and longer...
